Basic Site Settings
Open Site Information page
The Site Information configuration page allows administrators to manage fundamental settings for their Drupal site. Key settings include:
- Site Name and Slogan: Define the name and tagline of your site, which will be displayed in the header and title tags.
- Email Address: Set the default email address used for site notifications and administrative purposes.
- Front Page: Specify the default front page of the site by entering the URL of an existing page. This determines the landing page users see when they visit your site.
- Error Pages: Configure custom pages for 403 (access denied) and 404 (page not found) errors by setting the URLs of existing pages. These pages provide a better user experience when errors occur. This allows you to customise error pages.
- Default Country and Time Zone: Set the default country and time zone for the site, ensuring accurate date and time display.
These settings help establish the core identity and operational parameters of your Drupal site.
