Special Content

The Special Content component displays non-standard items such as Library Search, Quick Links (with icons), Email Subscription boxes, and more.

Admin

The fields and values depend on the block type (Special ID) selected. While several options are available, only Email Subscription is covered in this documentation. Other options are for internal use.

Intro

If specified, the title and summary text are displayed above the subscription button.

Special ID

Use the value subscribe. All lowercase, no other characters.

URL

Provide the full URL of the external subscription page. This is where the user is redirected when clicking the subscription button.

Link text

The text displayed on the subscription button.

1. Add a Special Content component to your page
2. In the Special ID field, enter subscribe
3. In the URL field, paste the external subscription page URL
4. In the Link text field, enter the button text (e.g. “Subscribe”)
5. Optionally, add a title and summary in the Intro tab
