Taxonomies are used to categorise content types. They can be used to filter content on listing pages (Views).

Categories, tags, topics, and types are all examples of taxonomies.

Edits to some terms may not be reflected on the frontend. Editing or deleting terms may have unintended consequences. Consult the development team before making changes.

Icon

Some taxonomy terms can have an SVG icon assigned. This icon is displayed in View filters and tag-style lists.
