Event

An event is a scheduled happening that residents can attend — a festival, workshop, concert, and so on. An event has a date range, a geo location (for physical events), price, booking link, and various other details.

Create a new Event

Give your event a descriptive title that accurately describes the content. The title is displayed in the browser tab and in search engine results.

Choose categories that best describe the event. Categories can be used to filter events on listing pages (Views).

Choose facilities that are available at the event or location. Facilities can be used to filter events on listing pages (Views).

Choose one of the following event statuses:

  • Cancelled
  • Postponed
  • Sold Out

No status means the event is active.

Indicates whether the event is accessible to people with disabilities.

The Date Range field specifies a start and end date and time for the event.

  • When: Select the start and end date and time. Use the calendar icons to pick dates and the time fields to set precise times.
  • Duration: Choose between predefined durations or set a custom duration.
  • Repeats: Configure if and how the event repeats (e.g. daily, weekly).

Add a description for the date range, providing additional context (e.g. “every Thursday”).

A recurring event from 10am until 11am every first Friday and third Thursday of the month until end of year.

Serves the same purpose as the Featured Image for a page. Displayed on the page header and in listing page (Views) cards.

If the event requires booking, provide link(s) to the booking page(s). See Components > Links for usage instructions.

If the event has a representative or point of contact, provide their details. For example, festivals have coordinators, workshops have instructors.

If the event has an entry fee, provide the price. Multiple prices can be provided for different ticket types.

If the event is held at a physical location, set the geo location to have it shown on the map of a listing page (Events View).

Content consists of components — text, images, accordions, etc — that describe the event.
